Chapter 1: SELF-LOVE SPELLS

Self-love spells are magical workings designed to enhance self-worth, confidence, and personal growth.

Spell 1: Mirror of Devotion

This self-love ritual uses a black scrying mirror to reflect the practitioner’s own strength and divinity back to themselves. Performed on a Friday night under a waxing moon, it enhances inner beauty and clarity.

  1. Light a pink or white candle and place it before your black scrying mirror.
  2. Breathe deeply and gaze into your reflection, allowing your focus to soften.
  3. Whisper affirmations such as, “I am sacred. I am whole. I am worthy.”
  4. Visualize a radiant light emerging from your chest and reflecting back from the mirror.
  5. When you feel the connection fully, close the ritual with a phrase of sealing, e.g., “So it is within, so it is without.”

Chapter 1 – Spell 2: Bloodroot Reclamation

An Original Gnōsis AEI Self-Love Rite for Power Retrieval and Emotional Sovereignty

There are moments in our path where self-love must transcend softness and become defiance. In the shadow of neglect, betrayal, or dismissal—especially self-abandonment—we require more than balm. We need a reclamation. A taking-back of name, body, and voice.

Bloodroot Reclamation is not a gentle healing. It is a visceral invocation that calls the parts of you scattered across time, relationships, and former identities back into the flesh. This spell is for the occultist who has given too much, forgotten their own scent, or learned to perform for safety. It roots you in yourself again—through scent, breath, and the spoken word.

This rite is done alone, preferably nude or loosely draped, with intention set through sacral activation. Evening or dusk is ideal. The spell focuses on energetic retrieval and affirmation of worth through the three veins of Gnōsis AEI: Aletheia (truth), Energeia (force), Idia (self).

Ingredients

  • A small pinch of bloodroot powder (or substitute with dried hibiscus if unavailable—though less potent)
  • A personal sigil representing your soul’s essence (drawn in advance)
  • A drop of clove or cinnamon oil for activation (fire-linked and solar)

Steps

  1. Preparation and Grounding: Enter sacred space. Remove all jewelry, clothing, or tokens of external identity. Stand or sit comfortably and breathe in through your nose for 6 seconds, out through your mouth for 6. Do this 6 times. Your breath should awaken your core.
  2. Sigil and Anointment: Hold your sigil against your chest. Dip your fingertip into the clove oil and draw the sigil onto your skin just below the navel (the center of will and sexual sovereignty). Repeat aloud: “By the current of Λ Φ Μ Ω, I reclaim all that is mine. No part of me is forsaken.”
  3. Bloodroot Invocation: Sprinkle the bloodroot powder into a small fire-safe bowl or onto a charcoal disc. As the smoke rises, speak: “Through root and flame, I summon my name. What was cast off returns clothed in flame. Let no mask remain. Let no lie bind. I am returned to myself, whole and divine.”
  4. Stay in that space, breathing in the scent, allowing your body to feel your own energetic field returning and sealing. You may feel warmth, memory, or even grief—let it move through. Let it complete.

Chapter 2: LOVE SPELLS

Love spells are magical workings designed to attract, enhance, or mend romantic relationships and connections.

Chapter 2 – Spell 1: Red Thread of Desire

A simple attraction spell using the principles of Gnōsis AEI to bind subtle attention between you and the target through symbolic resonance and focused desire.

Ingredients

  • 1 red thread (approx. 12 inches)
  • A small slip of paper
  • Black ink pen
  • A drop of your saliva
  • Candle (white or red)
  • Fireproof dish

Steps

  1. Write your target’s name on the slip of paper.
  2. Add a drop of your saliva over the name and let it dry.
  3. Fold the paper once, wrap the red thread tightly around it.
  4. Light the candle.
  5. Hold the wrapped paper over the flame (not burning it), whisper your desire once clearly.
  6. Briefly pass the bundle through the flame three times, then drop it into the fireproof dish.
  7. Let the candle burn down completely.
  8. Dispose of the ashes outside, near crossroads or flowing water.

Chapter 2 – Spell 2: A Love Spell To Try

To attract love and enhance romantic connections.

Ingredients

  • Pink candle (symbolizing love)
  • Rose petals
  • Rose quartz
  • Anointing oil (rose or lavender)
  • Small piece of paper and pen

Steps

  1. Preparation: Cleanse your space with incense or sage. Sit comfortably and ground yourself with a few deep breaths.
  2. Set Your Intent: Write your desired qualities in a partner on the piece of paper. Be specific and positive.
  3. Anoint the Candle: Rub the anointing oil on the pink candle while focusing on your intent.
  4. Create a Circle: Arrange the rose petals in a circle around the candle.
  5. Light the Candle: As you light the candle, visualize the flame attracting love into your life.
  6. Hold the Rose Quartz: Hold the rose quartz in your hands and focus on the feeling of love and warmth.
  7. Chant: Recite a simple chant, such as: “Love, come to me, as I will, so mote it be.”
  8. Close the Ritual: Let the candle burn out safely. Keep the rose quartz with you as a charm.

Chapter 3: SHADOW WORK

Shadow work involves exploring the hidden or suppressed aspects of oneself to achieve personal growth and transformation.

Chapter 3 – Spell 1: Mirror and Moonlight Reverie

This spell is best done only when you feel ready to confront difficult aspects of yourself. Repeat during subsequent full moons or dark nights as needed, allowing time for reflection and integration between sessions.

Ingredients

  • A small, handheld mirror
  • A black cloth large enough to cover the mirror
  • A white candle
  • A bowl of water
  • A quiet, dark room (ideally with a window to see the moon)

Steps

  1. Prepare the Space: Set the bowl of water on a table or the floor. Place the white candle behind the bowl so its reflection shimmers in the water. Dim or turn off all other lights.
  2. Grounding: Sit comfortably in front of the water bowl. Take three deep breaths, visualizing roots growing from your feet into the earth, anchoring you to the present moment.
  3. Cover the Mirror: Place the mirror face up and cover it with the black cloth. Say aloud: “Hidden self, I call to thee, show me what I cannot see.”
  4. Candle Gazing: Gaze into the reflection of the candle in the water. Allow your mind to soften and become receptive. Let any thoughts or feelings that arise simply pass by, like clouds in the sky.
  5. Unveiling: Slowly remove the black cloth from the mirror. Look at your reflection. Do not judge. Simply observe. What emotions arise? Acknowledge these feelings without resistance.
  6. Integration: After a few minutes, gently cover the mirror again. Thank your shadow self for revealing itself. Blow out the candle. Dispose of the water outside, returning it to the earth.

Chapter 4: CLEANSING

Cleansing rituals are focused on purifying energy, removing negativity, and creating a fresh spiritual space.

Chapter 4 – Spell 1: Vinegar Uncrossing Wash

A powerful cleansing ritual to remove negativity and crossed conditions from your space.

Ingredients

  • White vinegar
  • Water
  • A sprig of rosemary (fresh or dried)
  • A white cloth
  • A basin or bucket

Steps

  1. Prepare the Wash: Fill the basin with cool water. Add a cup of white vinegar. Stir in the rosemary sprig, visualizing it clearing away negativity.
  2. Cleanse Your Space: Dip the white cloth into the vinegar water. Wring it out slightly.
  3. Wash Downwards: Starting at the highest point of a room (like a ceiling corner), wipe downwards towards the floor. As you wipe, say aloud: “Away with shadows, away with blight, in purest water, be gone from sight.” Repeat until the entire room has been wiped down.
